Nilesh Handlooms

Nilesh Handlooms is our shop over in Badlapur. We are in Shop No-01 of the Yashodham Building, which is right on Station Pada Road. It’s a very convenient spot because we are quite near the Badlapur railway station. If you are looking for us, we are directly opposite the Forest Office, which is a big local landmark that everyone knows. Being on Station Pada Road means there is a lot of movement outside our door all day long. The shop itself is filled with all the handloom fabrics and items we keep in stock. It’s a bit of a small space, so things can get a little crowded when we have new deliveries arriving, but it feels cozy. We’ve been here in the Yashodham Building for several years and have a good relationship with the other shop owners. The noise from the station and the traffic on the road is something we’ve just gotten used to over time. We don't have any flashy displays or big advertisements. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to come in. Most of our customers are locals or people who commute through the station every day. We spend our time tidying up the shelves and helping people find what they need. It’s a simple, local business and we like being part of the Badlapur community. We usually stay open until the evening when the station crowds start to thin out and we head home ourselves.
