Mahavir Collection

Mahavir Collection is located right in the Kanchan Ganga Building on Shivaji Path. If you know where the Punjab National Bank is in Thane West, we are basically right across from it. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work or the bank. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. Our shop, number one, is right on the ground floor so people can just walk in from the street. We sell a variety of clothes and things like that. It’s mostly stuff for everyday use, nothing too loud or expensive. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of different sizes and colors on the racks. We don’t have those fancy mannequins in the window, just the stock neatly folded or hanging where you can see it. Most of our regular customers live nearby in the buildings around Shivaji Path. They stop by to see if anything new came in during the week. The traffic outside can be quite something, with all the buses and rickshaws constantly honking, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over time. It’s just me and a helper most days. We keep things simple here. We don’t do big sales or flashy ads. People come because they know they can find a decent shirt or some trousers without having to go all the way to a big mall.
