Neha Steels

We run Neha Steels from a spot on Kalyan Road, tucked in behind the MACB building and right near Ganesh Society. It’s a bit of a tucked-away location, but it works well for what we do with steel. Kalyan Road is always busy with heavy traffic and noise, so being a little bit off the main strip helps us manage the loading and unloading of the trucks without blocking everything for others. The area is a mix of residential homes and small businesses. We have to be mindful of the neighbors in the society, so we try not to make too much noise too early in the morning. Steel is heavy and loud, so it’s a constant balance for us. Our yard isn’t very big, but we use every inch of it to store our materials. There are usually stacks of metal around and the sound of it being moved is just the soundtrack to our daily lives. We’ve got a small group of guys who handle all the heavy lifting. It’s tough physical work, especially when the sun is beating down on the metal in the summer. We don't have a fancy office, just a small desk where we keep the books and take the customer orders. Most of our customers are locals or builders working on small projects nearby. We’ve been here for a while and people know where to find us even if we are hidden behind the main buildings. It’s just a regular, hard-working steel yard. We like it here just fine for now.
