National Ispat

National Ispat is tucked away on Road No. 22 in the Wagle Industrial Estate. If you know Hanuman Nagar, you know how busy it gets around here. Our place is full of metal stacks and the sound of trucks coming in and out. It’s a dusty job, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We’ve been handling iron and steel for a long time. It’s heavy work, and there’s no way around that. We spend our mornings checking inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, especially when we’re trying to load up a delivery, but we manage. We aren’t a huge corporation with suits and ties. We’re mostly in boots and work shirts. The office is just a small corner with a couple of chairs and a lot of paperwork. We know the other business owners on this road pretty well. We trade stories about the traffic or the heat. It’s a practical life. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure the measurements are what the customer asked for. There’s a certain rhythm to the cutting and moving of the metal that you get used to after a few years. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We usually have a bit of a backlog on Mondays, but we eventually get through it all.
