Naaz Fabrication

Our workshop, Naaz Fabrication, is on the first floor of Chandramani Seva Sangh. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we’ve got a good view of the street from there. We are right opposite the Best Depot in Indira Nagar Gali, which is behind the Trisha Bar on Link Road in Goregaon West. It’s a very noisy area with all the buses and traffic, but you get used to it after a while. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of metal cutting and welding. We’ve got sparks flying and bits of iron everywhere. It’s a messy place, but that’s how fabrication work is. We make gates, grills, and all sorts of metal frames. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting into the narrow gali, so we have to carry stuff out to the main road ourselves. It’s hard work and the Mumbai humidity doesn't help much. We’ve been in this spot for years and know all the other shopkeepers nearby. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just come by because they saw our work at a neighbor's house. We keep a ledger for all the orders and try to stay organized, even if the desk is covered in dust. It’s just a regular local business trying to do honest work for the people in Goregaon.
