N. S. Engineering

N. S. Engineering is located at Plot Number 268, right behind where Thakur Engineering is on Pokharan Road No. 1. If you're in Upvan, Thane West, you know it can get pretty crowded around here. We’re tucked away a bit, which is actually nice because we can focus on the work without too much noise from the main road. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long time. It’s a typical engineering shed, lots of steel bits and heavy benches. We do a lot of custom work. People bring us sketches on scraps of paper, and we try to turn them into something solid. My father started this, and I’ve been helping out since I was a teenager. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that if you do a decent job, the next person will hear about it. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by noon. We clean it up, then start again the next day. Sometimes we stay late when a client is in a real hurry. It’s not a glamorous life, but it pays the bills and keeps the mind sharp. Being in Thane, we see a lot of different industries come and go. We just keep our heads down and keep the lathes turning. It’s what we do. The rain can be heavy here, so we’ve had to fix the roof twice already this year. We just keep going because that’s the only way to get through the orders.
