Meka Steel Furniture

We are Meka Steel Furniture, located inside Bhatia Compound, No. 2, on L.B.S. Marg (West). If you know L.B.S. Marg, you know it’s a long, busy road with a lot of movement. Our workshop is tucked inside the compound where we make various steel items. It’s a noisy place with the sound of cutting and welding going on all day. There is always dust and the smell of paint in the air. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most of our furniture is stacked up in the corner as soon as it’s finished. We focus on making things that last. Steel is tough to work with, but it’s what we know. The guys in the shop have been doing this for years. We aren't much for talking or writing advertisements. We just show people what we've built. The compound is crowded, and we often have to move things around to make space for a delivery truck. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s a controlled chaos. We’ve been at this spot for a long time and the locals know Meka Steel Furniture is where to go for something sturdy. We don't use high-tech machines for everything; a lot of it is still done by hand with old tools. It’s hard work, but we like seeing a finished piece of furniture ready to go out. We just keep at it, one piece at a time, making sure things are solid before they leave the compound.
