Our place is in B 902 of Amrut Park, Building Number 7, over in the Khadakpada area of Kalyan West. Being up on the ninth floor gives us a bit of a view, though it’s mostly just other buildings and the busy streets of Thane. Mba is operated right from this apartment. It’s a bit of a climb if the elevator is acting up, which happens every now and then. Inside, we’ve turned the main living area into a workspace. It’s got a lot of natural light coming in during the day, which is nice. We have a lot of files and books sitting around on the shelves. It’s not a corporate office with a lobby or a sign on the door. You’d probably just think it was another home if you didn't know we were here. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking on the phone. The area of Khadakpada has grown a lot lately, so there’s always construction noise somewhere in the distance. We’ve lived and worked in Maharashtra for a long time, so we’re used to the humidity and the pace of life here. It’s a practical setup for us. We can work late without having to worry about a commute. Most of our neighbors are friendly enough, though we mostly keep to ourselves and focus on getting the day's work finished before the sun sets. It’s just how we get things done.
