Our shop is over in Unit No. B-7 within the K.M.C. Compound. If you know the area in Jogeshwari West, we are right across from the Meghani School. It's a busy part of Behram Baug. We have been working with metals and engineering parts here for quite some time. The compound itself is always full of activity with trucks coming and going. It can get pretty noisy during the day, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. We keep a lot of our stock right there in the unit. It’s not a huge space, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. We spend most of our time measuring, cutting, or checking the inventory. It’s a hands-on kind of place. The school kids across the street make a lot of noise in the afternoons, which lets us know the day is almost over. We don’t really do much in terms of fancy displays. If someone needs a specific part or some metal work, they just drop by the unit. We usually have grease on our hands and are busy with a machine or a ledger. It’s a simple operation, really. We’ve been in this spot for years and know most of the people around the compound. It’s a good location for getting things shipped out across Mumbai without too much trouble.
