I am sitting here at my desk in Krishnakrupa, Plot 160. It is a busy morning in Sector 21. Navi Mumbai usually gets quite loud around this time with all the traffic outside. Our office is on the 301 floor. It is not a very big space, but it fits us just right. We have got some old wooden desks and a couple of computers that have seen better days. Every morning, we come in and check the lists of people looking for work. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs. It is good exercise, I guess. We try to keep the paperwork organized, but it piles up quickly. People stop by often to ask about openings. We hand them forms and tell them to fill them out right there in the small waiting area. The fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it is on high, but you get used to it. My colleagues are mostly local folks who live nearby. We share lunch together around noon. Usually someone brings some extra pickles or a bit of curry to pass around the table. We do not have fancy coffee machines here, just a kettle for tea. It works for us. We have been at this address for a while now. Most people in the sector know where the building is. If you are looking for us, look for the blue gate. It is nothing special, just a place where we get things done every day.
