We are out here in Bhavadi, near Karegaon, doing the daily work at Mahindra Ugine Steel. It’s a busy place in the Ambegaon taluka, especially when the big trucks start rolling in through the gates early in the morning. Most of us have been around here for a while, seeing the steel move from one section to another. It gets pretty hot near the machinery, especially during the summer months in Pune district, but that is just part of the job. People come and go, shifts change, and the noise of the plant never really stops. We handle a lot of metal here. Sometimes the roads around the factory get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but we just keep at it. It isn't a fancy setup with glass walls, just a lot of hard work and people trying to get their tasks done before the day ends. We see the same faces every morning at the gate. It's a long way from the main city, so we mostly rely on each other to keep things moving. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just processing steel like we always have.
