Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission

We’re located in Navi Mumbai at B 604 Shri Ramtanu Mauli Appartements. It’s a residential building, which might seem a bit quiet for an office, but it works for what we do here at the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission. Navi Mumbai is quite spread out and being in this part of town means we are away from the main madness of the old city. We spend our time going through electricity papers and state regulations. It’s a lot of reading and checking things to make sure everything follows the rules. The apartment is on the sixth floor, so we get a bit of a view of the neighborhood when we take a break. We don’t have a lot of walk-in traffic, it’s mostly scheduled work and handling the regulatory side of things for the Maharashtra state area. People who live in the building are used to us being here by now. It’s a very simple setup with some computers and a lot of files stacked up. We try to keep things orderly, though it can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of new documents arriving at once for a case. India is a big place and the power sector has a lot of moving parts, so we just focus on our specific tasks here. It’s a local office for us, and we like that it feels more like a home than a cold office building. We just do the work that’s assigned to this Navi Mumbai branch every day, keeping things simple.
