Sailors Seajob Services

Sailors Seajob Services operates from the 3rd floor of the Aditya Nursing Home building. We are located right opposite the McDonald's in the West, which makes us pretty easy to find if you are walking from the station. Our main thing is helping people find work on ships and handling the paperwork that comes with sea jobs. The office is often full of young guys looking to start their careers or experienced sailors looking for their next contract. We aren't a big recruitment firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us here trying to keep track of openings and requirements from different shipping lines. The stairs up to the third floor can be a bit of a climb, especially on hot days, but people don't seem to mind. Being near the McDonald's means there is always a lot of noise and activity outside. We spend our hours checking documents, making calls, and updating files. It is straightforward work but it keeps us on our toes all day. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just some plastic chairs and a lot of files stacked up. We've been in this spot for a while and have seen many people head off to sea from here. It feels good to see them get their placements sorted after all the waiting. We just do our best to stay organized and keep the process moving for everyone who visits.
