Lilaai Agrotech Farmer Producer Company Limited

We’re over at plot 15 in Anmol Nagar, Deopur. It’s a bit of a walk from the main fields, but it’s a good place for us to meet and get our paperwork in order. We call ourselves Lilaai Agrotech, but really it’s just a group of friends and neighbors who farm the land around Dhule. We wanted to see if we could use some better tools and maybe share the cost of things like tractors or irrigation stuff. It’s not always easy because everyone has their own way of doing things. We spend most of our time out in the dirt, so the office is usually empty during the day. We only go there in the evenings or when there’s a lot of rain and we can’t work outside. We grow a bit of everything, whatever seems to be selling well. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to make sure we can support our families and keep our farms going. It’s a lot of trial and error with the crops and the markets. We don't have a big team of people, just us and a few helpers from the village. It’s a very local thing and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done. We hope the next harvest is a good one for everyone.
