Larsen & Toubro

Our little corner of Mumbai is on Goandevi Road in Kandivali. We’re located in Prabhu Niwas, near Indira Chowk, which is a very busy spot. If you know Poisar, you know how crowded it gets with people and shops everywhere. Our space is R-1 C-1, and it’s a typical Mumbai office—compact and efficient. We have to be organized because there isn’t a lot of extra room. Outside, you can always hear the sound of horns and people shouting. It’s the energy of the city, I guess. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with different sites and handling the paperwork that comes with being in such a large company. The monsoon is always a challenge here; we have to make sure the door is sealed tight so the rain doesn't get in from the street. We’ve got a small pantry area where we make tea, and that’s usually where we catch up on the local gossip. It’s a very human place to work. We know the shopkeepers downstairs and the guy who delivers the newspapers. Even though we are part of a big name like Larsen & Toubro, this specific office feels like a small family business because of how we interact with the neighborhood. We aren't doing anything flashy, just the daily grind in a part of the city that never seems to stop moving.
