We are located on the mezzanine floor of the Dev Prayag building on Bhakti Mandir Road. It’s in the Panchpakhadi area of Thane West. We do steel trading, which basically means we spend our whole day on the phone or working on the computer. The office isn't very large and we share the building with several other small businesses. We have been working together as Khuspe and Patil for quite some time now. We don't have a fancy showroom where you can walk around. Most of our work is done through our contacts in the industry. We handle the logistics of getting steel from one place to another for construction projects. Thane is a busy city and the traffic outside can be a nightmare sometimes, but we are used to it. Our desks are usually covered in notes and order forms. We aren't trying to be the biggest steel company in the world. We just want to make sure our clients get what they ordered on time. Sometimes there are delays at the mills and we have to explain that to people, which isn't always fun. We don't have a big marketing budget or any promotional stuff. We just rely on the relationships we have built over the years. It is a practical business and we just try to keep things moving along every day without too much trouble.
