Khelna Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in Chinchpur, which is in the Sillod area. We are set up at the place of Pandurang Shenfad Janjal. The name Khelna comes from the river that flows through our region, which is the lifeblood for all of us here. In Chinchpur, farming is everything. If the harvest is good, the whole village is happy. We formed this group because we wanted to have a bit more control over our own futures. Pandurang’s place is where we keep our records and meet to discuss the season. Most of us grow ginger or maize, depending on the year. We aren't some big city company with a fancy way of talking. We speak plainly and work hard. Joining together under this name was a big step for us. It means we aren't just individuals anymore; we are a group of neighbors.
