Down here in Bajar Peth, things are usually pretty active. Kapadane Parisar Farmers Producercompany Limited is set up right by the Jai Hind Mitra Mandal. It's a local spot in Kapadne. You look for the Zenda Chauk and you'll find us near Atmaram Desale's place. We are a group of farmers who decided to get together. It’s more of a community thing than a big company. We spend a lot of time talking about crops and prices. The office isn't much to look at, just a room where we meet and keep our records. It gets noisy during market days in the Bajar Peth area. Everyone knows everyone around here. If you ask for the producer company at the Chauk, someone will point you the right way. We handle the local produce and try to make things work for the members. It's a lot of paperwork sometimes, more than we'd like. We don't have a big marketing team or fancy signs. Just a board with the name on it. Living and working in Kapadne means you're part of the soil. We’ve been operating from this side of the village for some time now. It’s practical and close to where the action is. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit messy, but we're always around. Just a bunch of us trying to make a living and support the local families around the zenda.
