Our warehouse is situated at 8 116 in Daulat Nagar, specifically in the Kopri Colony part of Thane East. It’s a busy area, especially with all the movement around the station and the trucks trying to navigate the narrower lanes. The building itself is a sturdy one, which is important for keeping things safe and dry. We have a lot of floor space, though it fills up quickly depending on what’s being stored that month. The high ceilings are good for stacking, but it can get quite hot in there during the peak of summer. We spend a lot of time moving crates and checking inventory lists on clipboards. It’s a lot of manual work, and we are usually pretty tired by the end of the shift. The neighborhood is a mix of homes and small businesses, so there’s always something going on outside. We know the guys at the local shops and we usually grab some snacks from the corner stall during our breaks. The lighting inside is functional, mostly overhead bulbs that hum a bit. It’s not a glamorous job, just making sure everything is in its place and accounted for. We deal with all sorts of items coming in and out. It’s a practical business, and we’ve been part of the Kopri Colony community for a while now, just doing our bit in the logistics chain. We just keep our heads down and get the loading and unloading done before the day ends.
