Jijai Biofarm Private Limited is located at A1/403, Shreeji Park, in the Parsik Nagar area of Kharegaon, Kalwa. It is a bit of a suburban setup, tucked away in a residential building. We are not a big outfit with hundreds of employees. We are a small team focused on the biofarm side of agriculture. We really got into this because we were worried about all the stuff being sprayed on food these days. Living in a place like Kalwa, you see a lot of people looking for healthier options, so we thought we would focus on natural ways of farming. Our office in Shreeji Park is where the planning happens. It is usually a bit cluttered with papers and samples, and there is always someone on the phone. We do not have a fancy receptionist or a big sign out front. It is just a workspace where we try to figure out how to help farmers switch over to better, more natural methods. It is a lot of trial and error. Some things work, some do not, and we are honest about that. We spend our time between the office and visiting different plots of land to see how things are growing. It is not a glamorous job, but it feels important to us. We are just trying to do our bit to make sure what people eat is a little bit safer and more natural, one step at a time. It keeps us very busy.
