We’re based in Priyadarshini CHS, specifically unit D 36 02, over in Sector 48 of Nerul. It’s a residential society, so it’s much quieter than being in the middle of a commercial district. There are trees around the building and it feels a bit more relaxed. We’ve set up our workspace here to handle the daily operations of Jacobs Engg India Pvt Ltd. It’s a straightforward apartment-style office. We use the main living area for the primary desks and the smaller rooms for storage and files. It’s comfortable enough for our small group. Most mornings start with someone making a pot of coffee while we look over the schedule. We don't have a lot of visitors, so we don't worry too much about having a formal reception area. If the doorbell rings, it’s usually just a courier or a neighbor. Living and working in Navi Mumbai is nice because the roads are wider and there's a bit more breathing room. We keep the balcony door open for some breeze when the weather isn't too hot. There’s a lot of paper moving through this office every week. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the technical work. It’s a very practical way to run a business without all the extra overhead of a big tower downtown.
