Iron Steel Trading Ltd is located out in Raigad. It is a big area and we have our yard here where we keep all the stock for our customers. Dealing with steel and iron means things are always heavy and usually pretty dusty. We spend a lot of our time moving things around with the crane or checking the piles of metal that come in on the trucks from the suppliers. Raigad is a good place for this kind of work because there is enough space to breathe and move the big loads without blocking the street. Most of us have been working with metal for years, so we know how it goes. The yard can get really hot in the summer, and when it rains, it gets a bit messy underfoot, but that is just how the job is. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small space to keep the paperwork dry and a place to sit for lunch. Usually, the day starts early when the first deliveries arrive at the gate. We check the weights and make sure everything is where it should be. It is hard work, mostly physical, and you go home tired every day. We know the local drivers and the regulars who come by for materials. There is not much talk, just getting the loading done so people can get on their way. It is a straightforward business.
