Indian Women Children Foundation

Our office is located at A 1 301 Mohan Paradise, which is in the Waylenagar area of Khadakpada. This is over in Kalyan West, part of the bigger Thane area with the zip code 421301. The Indian Women Children Foundation has been around this neighborhood for a bit. It’s a regular apartment building, so it feels more like a home than a stiff office. We spend most of our time here dealing with different things for women and kids. Kalyan is a crowded place and the streets around Waylenagar can get really packed in the evenings. We’ve got a small space on the third floor. Sometimes the elevator acts up, but we’re used to it. People from the foundation are usually coming and going all day. It’s not a quiet place, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with the community. We aren't a big corporate setup with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just us in Mohan Paradise trying to get things done. Most of the staff lives nearby so we know the area well. If you come by Khadakpada, you’ll see the building easily enough. We keep things pretty simple here. No big speeches or anything, just the daily work that needs to happen. It's been our base for quite a while now and we like the local feel of the place. We just focus on what's in front of us each day.
