We are over in Thane, tucked away in the Gurukrupa Apartment building on Agra Road. Our specific unit is Block 503 on the fifth floor. It’s a decent area, though being right on Agra Road means we hear a fair amount of traffic noise throughout the day. We are a software solutions company, and we started this business because a few of us wanted to stop traveling all the way into the main city every single day. The office isn't anything special to look at. We have a few rows of desks, some basic shelving for our files, and a corner where we keep the kettle and some snacks. It feels more like a home that someone turned into a workspace, which actually makes it quite a comfortable place to spend the day. We don't have a receptionist, so when the doorbell rings, whoever is closest to the door usually gets up and see who it is. We spend most of our time on our computers, writing code or fixing bugs for our clients. It is quiet for the most part, except for the sound of typing and the occasional discussion about a project. We aren't a big corporation with lots of rules and meetings. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and head home when the work is finished. It is a straightforward way of doing business, and it seems to work well for us and the people we work with. No fuss, just software.
