Being in Dombivali East means it is always crowded outside, especially with people rushing to and from the station. The building itself is one of those older residential complexes that has been here a while. We are on the ground floor mostly, so it is easy to step in from the street. Thane gets very humid, so the office usually feels a bit stuffy even with the fans going. We have a lot of people coming in to talk about their savings or to fix issues with their cards. It is a lot of talking and typing every single day. The traffic on Manpada Road never really stops, so there is a constant sound of rickshaws and bikes. We know the shopkeepers nearby and sometimes we grab a snack from the stall around the corner. It’s a very practical kind of place. We don’t have much room for anything extra, just the desks and the computers we need to run Icici Bank Ltd. Most folks who live in Om Anurag or the buildings next door just drop in while they are out doing their grocery shopping. It’s a very busy little corner of the world.
