Home Fresh Dry Sweets Snacks is situated in Kandivali East, right at Shop No 1 in the A Wing of Indraprasth. We’ve been here for a while, mostly focusing on all the different kinds of snacks and dry sweets that people like to keep in their cupboards. Our shop isn't anything too special to look at, just a regular place with a lot of plastic containers and glass displays. The morning usually starts with us checking the stock and seeing what needs to be restocked on the shelves. Being in Indraprasth means we see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. It can get a bit cramped in the shop when a few people come in at once, especially if they have bags with them. We try to keep things tidy, but with so many different types of snacks, there is always a bit of a mess somewhere. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not, just a local spot in Kandivali where you can pick up some things to eat. Most of the work is just weighing stuff and putting it into bags for people. Sometimes we have a little chat with the regulars about how the weather is or how busy the station is. It’s a simple way to spend the day, really. We just focus on keeping the bins full and the shop open, making sure we have what people are looking for when they walk in.
