We are based out in Bhiwandi, specifically in the Prithvi Complex at Kalher. Our space is in Building B 1, taking up Galas 103 and 104. It’s mostly storage and some basic processing for cotton and seeds. If you’ve ever been to Bhiwandi, you know how it is—trucks everywhere and lots of dust. We spend our days moving bags around and checking the quality of the seeds we get in. It’s heavy work and the heat in the warehouse can be a lot during the summer months. Harman Cottex & Seeds isn't a brand new setup; we’ve put in the years to get where we are. The lights in the warehouse flick sometimes, and we’ve been meaning to call someone to fix them, but we just keep working around it. There’s always a fine layer of dust on everything, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just the nature of dealing with seeds and raw cotton. We’ve got a small staff of local guys who know the routine. We don't have fancy uniforms or a logo on the door. People know where Building B 1 is because of the trucks lined up outside. Prithvi Complex is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but we’ve been here so long it feels like home. We don't try to sound like a big corporation because we aren't one. Some days are stressful when the orders pile up, but we just take it one bag at a time.
