Handling Petty Cash Bank

We operate out of 73 11 Sumati Rele Niwas in Mumbai. If you know Maharashtra 400 022, you know it’s a packed area with a lot going on all the time. Our office is inside the Niwas building, and it’s a pretty tight space but we make it work for what we need. It’s mostly about handling the small cash details that other people might find tedious. We’ve got ledgers and notebooks scattered around because we still like to write things down sometimes. Mumbai is always moving fast outside our windows, but inside we try to keep things a bit more controlled. The building itself has been around for a while and has that lived-in feel that you only get in this part of the city. We don't have a big sign or any flashy lights. It is just a place where we sit down and do the counting and the recording. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We aren't some big bank with a marble floor. It’s just us in a room in Sumati Rele Niwas doing the work that needs doing. It gets humid and the fans are always humming, but we stay focused on the numbers. People come in and out, and we just keep the petty cash moving where it’s supposed to go without any drama.
