Our workshop is at Plot 491 in the Additional Ambernath MIDC area, which is part of the Thane district out here in Maharashtra. It’s a bit of a journey to get here if you're coming from the main city, but this is where there's enough space for material handling equipment. The plot is quite large because we need the room to move things around. You’ll see a lot of heavy metal frames and half-finished parts scattered around the floor. It’s a dirty job, so nobody here stays clean for very long. We have a small office tucked into the front corner where we handle the bills and the orders, but most of us spend the day out where the tools are. The air is thick with the smell of metal and welding sometimes. We don't have any flashy signs or a big showroom. Most people find us because they know we're in this part of the MIDC. The roads around here are a bit rough, so the delivery trucks have to go slow. We have a small area where we keep the finished goods before they get shipped out to customers. It's a lot of physical labor and coordinating with drivers who are always in a rush. We just try to get the work done right and hope the rain doesn't leak through the roof too much during the monsoon. It’s a honest day's work for everyone here.
