Golden Eye Optics

I've been running Golden Eye Optics in Kandivali East for a lot of years now. The shop is tucked into the Mahudi Darshan Building, specifically in the 2 Kandivali East 3rd Y Block. It is a simple place where I spend most of my day looking at frames and talking to people about their eyesight. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded when a whole family comes in at once, but mostly it is just steady. I have lived around here for a long time, so I know many of the faces that pass by the window. The building itself is older, and you can see that in the walls and the way the light comes in through the front. It isn't a fancy showroom with bright lights everywhere, just a practical space where people come to get their glasses fixed or to find a new pair that doesn't fall off their nose. I usually keep a small chair by the door for anyone who needs a rest while they wait. People ask me how I keep track of all the different lenses, but after so long, it just becomes a habit. The location is easy enough to find once you are in that part of the neighborhood. I try to stay organized, though my desk is usually covered in little screws and cleaning cloths that I need for the daily repairs. It is a quiet life, but I like being my own boss here.
