Ganesh Catering Services

We run Ganesh Catering Services out of Vitarag Tower in Bhayandar West. We're on the second floor, room A/201. Being right across from the Jain Mandir makes it easy for folks to find us. We started this business because we liked cooking for our neighbors and it just grew from there. It's a family thing, mostly. My brother does the shopping for the ingredients early in the morning at the local market. We try to get the freshest stuff we can find. The kitchen gets pretty crowded when we have a big order for a wedding or a party. We aren't some big corporate chain with a lot of fancy equipment. We use regular pots and pans, just much bigger ones than you have at home. Sometimes we stay up really late finishing the prep work. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day, but we've gotten used to it. The neighborhood here is pretty quiet usually, except during festival times when the temple gets busy. We just keep our heads down and do the work. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. Most people hear about us from their friends. If the food is good, people talk, and that's enough for us. We've been in this building for quite a while now and know most of the people around. It’s just a simple life, making food for people’s big days. It takes a lot of coordination to get the timing right for the deliveries.
