Gamut Machine Tools

We operate out of Lane No. 4 in Pendse Nagar, over in Dombivali East. It’s a residential-looking area but there is plenty of small-scale industry mixed in. Our place is number 29 in the Sameer Sagar building. We deal with machine tools. Most of what we do involves sourcing and supplying bits and pieces that other shops need to keep their own machines running. It’s a lot of inventory management and talking to suppliers. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because of all the boxes, but we know where everything is. It’s a local business through and through. We know the regular customers by name. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most people just call us or stop by when they need a specific tool. The rain in Dombivali can be heavy, so we spend a lot of time making sure the stock stays dry. It’s just how it is. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide the right tools for the local tradesmen. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, but the actual tool side of things stays organized. It's a quiet operation for the most part. We like it that way. If you’re coming from the station, it’s not too far of a walk. We’ve been here a while and don't plan on moving. It's a steady way to spend the day and we appreciate the regulars.
