Operating as Fujitsu Consulting India Pvt Ltdpune, we work out of Sai Palace here in Pune. It’s a familiar building for most people in the neighborhood. Our space isn't really a traditional office suite with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more of a functional room where we keep our files and computers. The building itself has a bit of character to it, though it shows its age in some spots. We like being in this part of town because everything you need is right within walking distance. There’s a tea shop just down the street where we often go when the afternoon slump hits. The noise from the street filtered through the windows can be constant, but after a few days, you just stop noticing it. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a person waiting to greet you. Usually, we are just heads-down on whatever project is currently on the table. The lighting inside is a bit bright, and we’ve got chairs that have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for the long hours we put in. It’s a simple setup for a group of people who just want a place to sit and do their jobs without a lot of fuss. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have extra equipment lying around, but we manage. It feels like a real part of the local community rather than some isolated corporate hub.
