Freelancer

We’re up on the third floor of the Annunai Building, specifically in Room Number 9. It’s located in Apte Wadi, near Sakshi Park in Badlapur East. It’s a bit of a walk up, but we don't mind it much. We’ve been based here in Badlapur for some time now, just doing our freelance work day in and day out. The area is relatively quiet compared to the center of Mumbai, which suits us just fine. It isn't a fancy office with a view, but it’s our space and it works. We’ve got our computers set up and enough tea to keep us going through the afternoon. We started this because we wanted to do things our own way, without having to answer to a big boss in some corporate tower. It’s just a few of us here, and we keep things pretty casual. No suits, no formal meetings, just honest work. Sometimes the building gets a bit noisy if there’s maintenance going on, but usually, it’s a good place to focus. We aren't trying to be some huge agency. We just take on the projects we can handle and do our best with them. Living and working in Badlapur East is pretty simple, and that is how we like it. We’re just regular people trying to make a living by doing what we know how to do. That’s the long and short of it for us here in Room 9.
