We've been based here in Wadi for quite some time now. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it works for us. Most days start with someone trying to get the old fan in the corner to stop clicking, which usually takes a few tries. We are right here in Maharashtra 400607, and if you know the area, you know it gets pretty busy around noon. We aren't some giant corporation with hundreds of floors. It's just a handful of us sitting at desks, handling the daily workload as it comes in. The walk from the main road isn't too bad unless it’s raining hard, then the puddles get a bit much. We usually grab tea from the guy at the corner twice a day. He knows how much sugar everyone likes by now. The desks are a bit crowded with papers and old files we haven’t found a place for yet. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. It’s a practical setup. We spend most of our time staring at screens or talking through things that need to get finished. It’s quiet enough to get work done but loud enough that you know you’re in a living neighborhood. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to get home before the traffic gets really bad. The air conditioner is temperamental, so we leave the windows open.
