Our little office is tucked away in the Shree Saraswati Anantraj building on Karve Road in Vishnunagar. This is Dombivli West, so it’s got that busy suburban feel that everyone around here knows. Being in a CHS means we are right in the middle of a residential neighborhood. It makes for a very different atmosphere compared to those big corporate parks in the city. We are in B 12, and it’s a modest space where we do our accounting and paperwork. The train station isn't too far, so some of us walk from there every morning. You can always hear the local noise, like the vegetable sellers or children playing nearby, which makes it feel quite grounded. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just some basic furniture and our computers. The monsoon season is always a bit of a challenge with the rain coming down hard on the roof, but we just keep working through it. We usually share some tea in the afternoon and talk about the day’s tasks. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We are just a group of people working out of a flat in Dombivli, trying to stay on top of the regulations and help out whoever walks through the door. It’s a simple life and a simple office. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but it works for us.
