Our office is Flat Number 01 on the ground floor of Building 4 in Sagar City. Envifox Infotech Private Limited is based in Andheri West, which most people know is a very busy part of the Mumbai suburban area. Being on VP Road means there is a constant stream of traffic and people outside our window. Since we are on the ground floor, it feels a bit more connected to the street. We don’t have to deal with the hassle of elevators, which is a relief on most days. The space used to be a regular residential flat, so it has that kind of layout with different rooms for different bits of work. It’s not a polished corporate environment, but it serves us well. We’ve got our computers set up and wires running along the walls. Sometimes the monsoon rains make it a bit damp, but we just deal with it like everyone else in the city. We aren't interested in sounding like a big multinational. We’re just a bunch of people working in a flat in Andheri. We grab tea from the local vendor and sometimes eat lunch at our desks when things get hectic. The neighborhood has a lot of SRA buildings, so it's a real mix of people and life all around us. It is a bit loud and crowded sometimes, but that’s just part of being in this part of Mumbai. We’ve made this space our own over the years.
