Dolphin Engineers

Dolphin Engineers is out on the Kalyan-Bhiwandi Road in the area called Kon. It’s a bit outside the main town of Kalyan, right where all the big transport routes meet. Our workshop is basically a large shed that stays open to the air to keep it cool while we work. We have all sorts of engineering projects going on at once. There might be someone welding in one corner and another person working on a motor in another. The ground is hard-packed dirt and concrete, and it’s seen a lot of work over the years. Because we are on the main road, we get a lot of dust from the passing trucks, but that’s just how it is in this part of Kon. We have a tiny office room where we keep the computer and the logbooks, but we spend most of our time out in the shop. There’s a bench outside where we sit during breaks to watch the traffic go by. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We don’t use fancy words or have a corporate strategy. We just fix what’s broken and build what our customers ask for. The tools are old but well-maintained, and everyone knows their way around the shop floor. It can get pretty loud when the heavy work is happening, but we like the noise of things being made. It’s just us, the road, and the engineering work we do every day.
