Our office for Dikshit Consultants Engineers Pvt Ltd is over at B 502 Riddhi Apt on Shree Prasta Road. We are quite close to the Fun Fiesta in Nallasopara West, so it is a pretty easy landmark for people to find. Working out of an apartment building gives the place a bit of a different feel than a standard commercial block. It is a bit more relaxed, though we still keep a lot of engineering drawings and heavy folders all over the place. There is always a lot of calculating and checking going on at the desks. We have a few drafting tables that take up most of the room, and the shelves are packed with technical manuals we have collected over the years. It can get a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage. The walk from the station isn't too bad, and we have gotten to know the local shopkeepers on the way in. We are not into big marketing displays or fancy signs. Our name is just on a small plate by the door. Most of our day is spent looking at blueprints or talking through technical problems that need solving. It is a steady kind of work that requires a lot of concentration. Sometimes the neighbors in the building drop by for a chat, which is a nice break from the numbers and the drawings.
