Three Steel Art

Three Steel Art is a small workshop located in Mangal Singh Subhash Nagar Digha. I spend most of my days here surrounded by the smell of burnt metal and the sound of grinders. It’s not a quiet place, but it is where things get made. We handle a lot of raw steel, turning it into gates, window grills, or whatever else someone needs for their house. The floor is usually messy with iron filings and offcuts that we sweep up at the end of the day. Sometimes the heat from the welding is a bit much, especially in the summer months. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll just see us working in our overalls with masks on. Most of our customers are locals from Digha who just walk in with a rough drawing on a piece of paper. We look at it, tell them if it can be done, and get to work. It’s honest labor. There’s a certain feeling you get when a heavy piece of steel finally takes the shape you wanted. We’ve been in Subhash Nagar for quite a while now. The neighbors are used to the noise. We take our breaks sitting on some old crates near the door, watching the traffic go by. Sometimes we share a joke or talk about the local news while the machines are off. It’s just a regular life of making things that are meant to last. We don’t use big words or make fancy promises. We just weld the steel until the job is done.
