This branch of Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Limited is located in the C 52 Punarvasu building in Sector 3. We are right opposite the Surya Shopping Center in the Srishti area of Mira Road East. It’s a busy part of the Thane district, and there’s always people moving around the shopping center. Our office is a place where we deal with a lot of numbers and paperwork related to housing. It’s not the most exciting work in the world, but it’s important for people who are trying to sort out their homes. We have a small team here who sits at their desks and goes through files all day. It can get a bit loud when the office is full of people asking questions, but we try to stay patient. We aren't fancy and the office is pretty basic, just the essentials to get the job done. We don't use a lot of complicated jargon if we can help it because we know it just confuses people. Most of us live nearby or commute from other parts of Thane, so we know how long the trains take and how the local traffic is. We just focus on processing the documents and making sure everything is filed correctly. It’s a regular job for us and we just try to be helpful to anyone who walks through the door. It’s a lot of checking boxes and double-checking signatures, but it keeps us busy.
