You might not expect to find us here, but Deutsche Asset Management has an office right in Ulhasnagar. We are located on Mat Mandir Road, in the Akash Colony area. Our specific spot is Room No. 16, inside Chawl No. 9. It’s a very local, down-to-earth setting in Thana, Mumbai. The address, 421005, is home for our small team. We aren't in a high-rise tower with a view of the ocean. Instead, we are right there in the middle of the neighborhood. It’s a busy place with people always moving around and the sounds of the street coming through the windows. We handle asset management, which sounds complicated, but we just look at it as paperwork and numbers that need to be kept in order. We have our desks crammed into the room, and we just work through the tasks one by one. It’s not a fancy environment, but it gets the job done. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know us. Sometimes the power goes out or it gets really hot, but we just keep at it. We don't have a marketing team or a bunch of slogans. We just show up to the chawl, open the office, and deal with the accounts. It’s a very humble way to work, but it keeps us grounded and focused on the actual work instead of the image.
