Our small office is over at Sneh Roop Milan Chs in Gandhinagar, Dombivli East. It’s a quiet residential-style area compared to the main market. We are in the P & T Colony, so it feels more like a neighborhood than a business district. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the trains are delayed. We handle consulting work, which mostly means sitting at our desks and thinking through problems or typing out reports. The office is simple. We have a few computers, a printer that jams occasionally, and a big table where we have our meetings. We don't go in for fancy presentations or corporate jargon. If a client has a question, we just talk it out over a cup of tea. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere most of the time. We try to stay organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up during busy weeks. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood outside, like birds or the occasional vegetable vendor passing by. We like it this way because it’s not too stressful. We don't have a receptionist; one of us just gets up when the doorbell rings. It’s a small operation, and we like keeping things personal and direct. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten to know the other people in the building. It’s just a normal workplace in a normal part of town.
