Metal Craft

Our shop, Metal Craft, is inside the Harihar Compound in Bhiwandi. Specifically, we are at H. No. 955/3-B in Building F-1, Gala No. Complex. If you have ever been to Bhiwandi, you know how these industrial compounds are. They are crowded with trucks, laborers, and stacks of goods everywhere you look. It is a busy place to work. Our gala is filled with the sounds of metal hitting metal. We don't have air conditioning or plush chairs. We have workbenches, heavy-duty machines, and racks of materials. The air is often thick with the smell of welding or cutting. It is hard work, and we all go home with dirty hands at the end of the shift. We aren't interested in being a big corporate entity. We just want to make sure the items leaving our door are solid. The guys here have been working with metal for a long time. We don't talk much while we are working because of the noise, but we have a good rhythm. Sometimes the rain in Bhiwandi makes the compound muddy and the work a bit harder, but we just keep going. It is a rough and ready environment, but it suits us. We are just one of many small businesses in this complex trying to keep things moving. There is always a lot to do, and not enough hours in the day to do it.
