Our place, Cp Grat-Ex Mfg. Co., is based at Survey No.11/4 in the Khupri area of Wada. It is a quiet spot, away from the main city buzz, which suits the kind of manufacturing we do. The workshop is where we spend most of our hours. It is a practical space designed for work, not for showing off. We have got our machines set up and a small team that knows how to run them. The address is pretty straightforward if you are familiar with the Wada district. We have seen a lot of seasons come and go from this factory floor. Some days the work is steady and other days it is a real rush to get things out. We do not use any big words or fancy titles here. We are just workers doing a job. The shed stays busy from morning till evening. We have some outdoor space for loading the trucks too. It is often dusty and loud, but we are used to it. We keep our own tools and look after the equipment ourselves. There is no big mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and some safety notes. Most of our neighbors are other small industries or farmland. It is a basic setup that has worked for us for a long time. We just keep our heads down and focus on the manufacturing tasks at hand.
