Consulting Eengineer

I work out of 1A101 in the Chandrawadan building. It’s located in Ganesh Wadi, over in the Panchpakhadi area of Thane. Being on the outskirts of Mumbai means things are a little less frantic than the city center, but it’s still plenty busy. Consulting Eengineer is mostly just me doing technical work and giving advice on building projects. I’ve been in this spot for several years now. The office is really just a room filled with blue-prints, measuring tools, and a very old drafting table that I can't bring myself to throw away. People from the local construction sites often drop by to show me plans or ask about structural issues. I don't use a lot of fancy software if I can help it; I still like doing calculations by hand to make sure they're right. It’s a bit of an old-school way of working, but people seem to trust it. The neighborhood of Panchpakhadi is nice, and it’s easy for clients to find me once they get into Ganesh Wadi. My day usually starts early with a lot of coffee while I look over the latest set of drawings. I don’t have a big staff, just one person who helps with the typing and filing. We keep things straightforward here. If someone has a technical problem, I try to find a practical solution that won't cost them a fortune.
