Chohan Motor Driving School

You can find our school at Shop No 10 in the New Ashirwad Building. We’re over in Pt. Dindayal Nagar, right across from Maitree Bhavan on Vasai Road West. It’s a pretty busy area, but that’s good for teaching people how to handle real traffic. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighbors all know us. The shop is small, mostly just a place to keep the keys and do the registration for new students. We aren't really office people; we’re usually out in the cars. Driving in Vasai has its own rhythm, and we try to teach that to everyone who signs up. Our cars are kept in decent shape, though they aren't brand new. They do the job they’re supposed to do. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to make sure people know how to drive without hitting anything. Sometimes we have to cancel a lesson because of heavy rain or a car issue, but we always try to make it up. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We talk to the students, find out what they’re worried about, and go from there. There’s no fancy marketing here. Word of mouth is usually how people find us. We just show up every day and get to work. It is a simple life and it keeps us busy most of the week.
