Arvind Motor Driving School

We run the Arvind Motor Driving School out of the Manav Mandir Complex on Ambadi Road. We are pretty easy to find since we are right near the ICICI Bank ATM in Thane. Most of our day is spent out on the road in the practice cars rather than sitting in the office. The office itself is just a small room where we keep the schedules and take down names for new learners. We have a couple of older cars that we use for teaching because they are reliable and easy for beginners to handle. Dealing with the traffic in Thane can be a bit stressful for new drivers, so we start them off on the quieter side streets before heading onto the main Ambadi Road. We have seen all kinds of people come through here, from teenagers getting their first license to older folks who finally decided to learn. We do not have any flashy simulators or high-tech gear. It is just a person in the passenger seat with an extra brake pedal, teaching someone how to shift gears and use their mirrors. The paperwork for the licenses can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we help people get through it. We usually start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot and the roads get too crowded. It is a basic business, but people in the neighborhood seem to know us.
