Chinmay Tours & Travels

Chinmay Tours & Travels is based in G 2 of the Vinayak Thakur Complex, which is on SV Road in Bhayander East. If you know SV Road, you know the traffic can be a real headache sometimes, but it is a good spot for us because everyone passes by. We have a small storefront where people can walk in and ask about bus tickets or car rentals. It’s a pretty basic setup with a couple of posters on the wall and a counter that has seen better days. We spend a lot of time talking to travelers and trying to figure out the best routes for them. The complex is usually quite noisy with other shops nearby, but we have gotten used to it. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to do everything by hand, which slows things down, but we manage. We aren't a big travel agency with fancy brochures. Most of our work is just helping locals plan their trips to nearby towns or arranging transport for weddings and events. My cousin helps me out with the bookings, and we usually stay open quite late to catch people coming home from work. It is honest work and we enjoy meeting different people every day. We just focus on keeping the vehicles moving and making sure the bookings are recorded correctly in our old ledger and the computer system.
