Chehata Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our company is Chehata Farmer Producer Company Limited and we operate out of Maina Devi’s residence in Village Bandal. The mail goes to the post office in Manjholi. This is a very small and local operation. We are all farmers who live in and around Bandal. We decided to form this company so we could help each other out with the business side of farming. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It is just a room with a few chairs where we sit and talk about our crops. We don't have any professional staff or fancy equipment. It is just us doing the best we can with what we have. Most of the time we are talking about the weather or the cost of fertilizers. Bandal is a quiet village and everyone knows everyone else’s business anyway. We don't use any big corporate talk here. We just want to make sure we can support our families by farming the land. It is a tough life sometimes, especially when the rains don't come on time, but we stick together. Being a producer company is just a way for us to have a bit more organization. We keep our records in simple folders and try to stay on top of the rules. It’s just how things are done here in the Manjholi area. No frills, just honest work.
